CARL ELIXIR STUDIO is a Washington D.C. based photo & video studio that specializes in creating timeless work and documenting stylish, discerning couples on the best day of their lives. We began this exciting journey back in 2012 and have a mountain of hard drives to prove it! Carl, along with his talented team of associates have been providing a rich visual art experience for some of the most amazing people.
By combining fine art & journalism studies, along with a skilled and sensitive eye for portraiture, our work garnered acclaim for our creativity, storytelling, and genuine connection to its subjects. Countless hours of wedding experience have transformed into the intricate procedures that we follow today. It begins from meticulous planning and designing of the scene, to precise execution of the shots, and ends with the thoughtful editing and enhancements. We always maintain a consistent quality and creativity throughout all our work, making every wedding memorable, beautiful and unique.

With over a decade of professional experience, Carl Elixir Studio has cultivated a rich and distinguished legacy. We have had the privilege of documenting more than 500 weddings, earning the trust and praise of over 200 couples. Our commitment to excellence has been recognized with the WeddingWire Couple's Choice Award for ten consecutive years, alongside an eight-year induction into The Knot's Hall of Fame.
